At Grace Church, we believe godly women have an incredible influence on their families, community, and church for the glory of God. So we make it a priority to value and develop women.
At Grace Church, we believe godly women have an incredible influence on their families, community, and church for the glory of God. So we make it a priority to value and develop women.
We believe God made all women with a distinct capacity to bring strength and aid to those in need. Yet so many women aren’t living in the fullness of God’s calling on their lives. Too many women view godly femininity as weakness and subservience or equate identity and God’s design with specific roles like wife or mother. We are committed to helping you flourish as a godly woman, regardless of a role you play.
We believe that everything women participate in is part of our ministry to and through women. All the ministries of the church are part of our discipleship process for women, developing them into who God created them to be. There is no separate group of women who are “in the women’s ministry;” if you are involved at Grace you are part of what God is doing.
Our primary venue for speaking to you as a woman is Ezer, a series of short-term small groups that equip you with language and biblical insights about womanhood. We strongly urge every woman to go through the seven-week study Biblical Femininity within her first year of attending Grace Church. (To learn more, see the link to an article about biblical femininity below.)
We want every woman at Grace to find a group of fellow believers to help her grow in Christ. We call this biblical community, and that primarily happens through Community Groups.
Because you have to be a covenant member of the church to join an ongoing group, here are the steps necessary to join:
One-time orientation to our church. First step to membership.
Membership, core values, and community group.
Putting yourself under the authority of Grace Church.
12 to 14 adults participating in biblical community.
In addition to the primary role that long-term community groups play in the lives of our women, we also offer short-term community options (Ezer groups) and crisis community options (Care and Recovery ministries).
