Grace Church Students exists to move our students toward spiritual maturity and growth in their relationship with Jesus Christ through pursuing God, connecting with the church, and engaging the world. We believe that students have a strategic impact to make on our community. As such, we desire to provide students with unique opportunities to transition into partnering contributors of the local church.

Parent Resources

We are working to create age-appropriate teaching for each group in Grace Church Students (Fusion, 24Seven, and Forge). We believe that it is crucial for the church to create environments and resources where both our students can be discipled and our parents can stay invested and informed.

High School Ministry

What is Forge?

Forge is our high school ministry for 9th through 12th grade. High School is the final ministry before launching students as adults, so Forge is designed to give students more responsibility and to transition them into being a full member of the church.

Our goal is to help high school students live in biblical community, which in turn will send them out to live missionally for the Kingdom of God rather than our own personal “kingdoms.”  We believe that the Scriptures attest to the fact that God uses a refining fire to purify our faith and to transform our lives into his character, and we want to unite as the church that is being “forged” into His image, for His glory.

Sunday Nights

This time is strategically planned to help all of our students connect and unite together as the church through singing and Bible teaching. We expect all of our students to actively attend the Adult Worship Services on Sunday mornings, and then on Sunday evenings we provide age specific equipping that is aimed at the every day life of a high school student.

Small Groups

We believe that life change happens best in the context of community. For this reason, students meet in small groups after program or in homes. Small groups are divided up by grade and gender and allow our students to experience the process of discipleship first hand as they build relationships with others their age and are poured into by their small group leader.

Re:generation for Students

Re:generation for Students is for anyone in grades 9-12 who is seeking God’s help with the brokenness in their life and is willing to do the work required by this ten-week program. By walking the steps of healing given to us by God through the Bible, many people have found freedom from personal struggles like substance abuse (alcohol, marijuana, pills, vaping, etc.), anxiety, obsessive thoughts, grief, people-pleasing, sexual sin (lust, pornography, same-sex attraction, etc.), eating disorders, the pain of a broken home, depression, suicidal thoughts, the pain of abuse, anger, and many more. If you’re ready to get well, you are welcome at Re:generation for Students!

7th & 8th Grade Ministry

What is 24Seven?

24Seven is our middle school ministry for 7th and 8th grade. Our goal throughout Student Ministry is to nurture and launch mature followers of Jesus by equipping them to pursue God, connect with the Church, and engage the world. Middle School is a challenging and transitional stage of life where students are constantly trying to define themselves and find their identity. Within this time, it can be easy to have more of a fear of man than a fear of God, and to seek acceptance in other people rather than in our Creator and Savior.

Our goal is to help middle school students understand the gospel and the implications of the gospel in every area of our life. As we understand and apply the gospel truths to our lives, we will be able to live a life of dependence on God, see our need to belong to the Church, and give our lives away in service to others. In turn, we will experience the freedom that is only found in Jesus and find our identity in Christ “24Seven.”

Sundays

24Seven meets at different times depending on your campus. During this time, students connect with each other and worship God collectively through singing and teaching in a large group.  Following this, students break out into small groups where each is placed with other students of the same grade and gender and a leader to study God’s word together and grow in community.

Special Events happen occasionally to provide more avenues for students to connect and grow together as well. There is a retreat in February and Mission Trip in the summer.

5th & 6th Grade Ministry

What is Fusion?

Fusion is our ministry for 5th and 6th grade, our intro level of Student Ministry. Our goal throughout Student Ministry is to nurture and launch mature followers of Jesus by equipping them to pursue God, connect with the Church, and engage the world. We desire for our 5th and 6th graders to have a strong, biblically-based foundation as they begin to transition into adolescence.

Our students worship God through singing, listening to biblical teaching, and responding to that teaching within the context of small groups. Our hope is that this structure will provide a foundation for students to learn to live in community and see the truths of Scripture come to life as they choose to follow Jesus at a young age.

Sundays

Our program has three main components: music, teaching, and small groups. Our students worship God through singing, listening to biblical teaching, and responding to that teaching within the context of community (a group of leaders and students of the same grade and gender).
