FAQ's

If you’re planning on visiting Grace Church for the first time and have children who will participate in Grace Church Kids, we hope this page of questions and answers will give you an idea of what you can expect when you arrive on campus. If you have questions that are not addressed here, please e-mail us at [email protected].

When is Grace Church Kids offered?
How do I check my child in?
  • If you are visiting Grace Church for the first time, stop by one of the welcome desks in the children’s center or area. There, a volunteer will assist you with checking your child into an age-appropriate class and direct you to that classroom. Your child will receive a name tag sticker, a check-in sticker, and a check-out sticker. Your child will wear the name tag sticker, and you will give the check-in sticker to the child’s small group leader. You will keep the third sticker to be used to pick up your child.
  • Once your child is in our computer system, check-in can be completed at any computer kiosk or welcome desk, and you can take your child to his or her classroom.
What if I need to be contacted during the service about an issue?

As part of our check-in procedure, we collect a cell phone number from the child’s parent or guardian. If a situation arises, and a volunteer feels it is necessary to summon a child’s parent, a text will be sent notifying the parent.

What if my child has special needs?

We welcome all children at Grace Church and are excited to have your child join us! We offer a variety of programs and support to children of all ages with special needs. For more information about our Mosaic Special Needs Ministry, visit gracechurchsc.org/mosaic.
